As a child I was always interested in the outdoors, camping in the back garden, in nature.
Now I love taking my two children away on adventures into the countryside and this eco friendly campsite on the Purbeck Peninsula is the perfect spot to unwind after a busy summer term at school.
Join our family eco-holiday as we find out about how we can lessen our impact on the environment. All the activities – kayaking, learning conservation on an organic farm, visiting a national nature reserve with a wildlife guide are a short distance from the campsite.
The campsite has plenty of space for adults to get some down time and for the kids to play frisbee, star gaze and build a campfire in the evening.
Thursday 13th – Sunday 16th August 2020
Our eco campsite, listed in the Cool Camping Guide, is situated on a working farm, between the picturesque villages of Corfe Castle and Wareham. Hot showers, eco toilets and a pop up cafe in a revamped horse box are part of the charm as well as wildflower meadows, chickens and horses.
