21 May Corona Virus Update
We hope that you and your family and friends are all safe and well.
Following on from the government advice on Sunday 11 May, we wanted to update you on the steps we are taking to ensure your safety on our holidays. Having written many risk assessments for school expeditions and overseas holidays, safety is paramount and up most in our mind, ensuring you not only have a great time but all risks are minimised and we comply with government regulations.
We are in contact with our accommodation suppliers, local tourist boards, national parks and local councils to ensure we are complying with local regulations and being able to network with some amazing suppliers who are working hard behind the scenes when the tourism industry opens up again.
We are looking at offering more outside experiences where we can social-distance individual families; offer experiences based on one instructor per family or look at self-guided activities which you can do yourself.
As a small company, working directly with local suppliers and not tied to flight schedules or rigid dates, we can be flexible and adaptable to our client wishes.
This hiatus has given us the chance to re-evaluate our normal definition of a holiday – where we go, the way we travel, reducing our carbon footprint, supporting small local suppliers rather than big businesses and perhaps doing some activities that you haven’t tried before!
